Eleanor Lougee-Heimer (she/they) is a Brooklyn based interdisciplinary creator and performer.

Eleanor is originally from the Hudson Valley area of New York and grew up studying dance, theater, and music. In 2016 she attended Sarah Lawrence College where she graduated in 2020 with a B.A. concentrating in dance, theater, and literature. Eleanor is an alumna of the Moscow Art Theater School as well as Prague Film School. She has been fortunate enough to study under artists such as Sara Rudner, David Neumann, Sibyl Kempson, Caden Manson, Elizabeth DeMent, IIgor Zolotovitsky, Petr Zelenka, Elizabeth Parkinson, and Scott Wise - to name a few. Eleanor has performed in world renown venues such as Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, The London Olympics, Williamstown Theater Festival, Moscow Art Theater, Abrons Art Center, Prague Fringe Festival, The Tank, as well as in numerous other festivals and films.

Artistically, Eleanor’s main focus is in creating interdisciplinary works within a collaborative structure through a choreographic lens. Through the use of collage, abstract theatrics, and a wide range of movement techniques, Eleanor examines topics such as relationships, loss, and reality TV - the juxtaposition between these normalized concepts and the multitudes they contain. Eleanor currently works as in-house motion capture talent for Silver Spoon animation. She believes that artistic bios can be limiting. She hopes you will reach out soon for a coffee & a chat.
